Good Morning Lisa,

I was notified that our staff has contacted a representative from Horizon letting them know that we received an inquiry on the following statement included in the Cultural Resources section of the Statement of No Impact dated August 22, 2013:

Miscellaneous historic and pre-historic debris was found on the project site during a cultural resources survey of the property. However, that debris was determined not to be significant.

We are currently awaiting further clarification and/or supporting data for the statement.  This is for the proposed private improvements located within the Woodlands site.

The representative stated they have conducted a portion of the shovel test as outlined in the scope of work of the Texas Antiquities Permit for the proposed public improvements.  They are currently waiting for direction from a Texas Historical Commission reviewer for the remainder of the shovel test.  Once the shovel test is complete, they will produce a report of their investigations.

We will forward information as soon as we receive it.

Thank you,
Elizabeth Trevino

Hi Elizabeth, this is the officially the longest ive ever waited for a reply in over 20 years. What do they have for us. And, thanks for all you do! This project is in motion, so this should be a no brainer, you can quote me on that follow up to the whomever is in charge.

Elizabeth,

How do i get the ACTUAL REPORT of what they found. Ive attached a screen shot for context of why i am asking this question from their report. What is “miscellaneous” ???? I have attempted to obtain info from the company and they have not returned my calls.

Best, LMC

Thank you so much!  Is there data to support this claim?

Miscellaneous historic and pre-historic debris was found on the project site during a cultural resources survey of the property. However, that debris was determined not to be significant. “
