ISSUES - LISA MARIE COPPOLETTA
1.) I will champion smart growth so that we can focus on bringing more jobs (and a larger tax and consumer base) to San Marcos that reduce our use of water and other limited resources. By integrating the jobs with smart city planning, we can give citizens the option to bike ride or walk, thereby decreasing traffic congestion. 2.) I will represent the citizens to work as stewards of our water and all natural resources. This ensures quality water and availability of water for future generations in San Marcos. 3.) I will work for a balanced budget, and work to control excessive expenditures in the city budget. This makes sure that money is spent wisely and that money is not being wasted. DEBATES - 2009
